Brent A. Levison, franchise and commercial real estate attorney, has been invited to serve as a guest speaker for the 16th Annual Ethical Governance Day, a countywide initiative hosted by the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics & Public Trust in partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
About Ethical Governance Day
Ethical Governance Day brings public officials, judges, attorneys, and community leaders into local high school classrooms each year. This year’s theme, “News Literacy — An Important Skill Needed to Sustain Our Democratic Republic,” focuses on helping students understand civic responsibility, informed citizenship, and the value of respectful public discourse.
Why Brent Is Participating
With over 25 years of experience in law and business, Brent believes strongly in giving back to the next generation of civic leaders. As a guest speaker, he will meet with high school students to discuss the fundamentals of ethical governance, the real-world impact of legal and civic decision-making, and how young people can engage meaningfully in their communities.
A Commitment to Community
This visit reflects Brent’s ongoing commitment to Miami-Dade County beyond his legal practice. By connecting directly with students, he hopes to inspire a new generation of informed, engaged citizens who understand how local decisions shape their everyday lives.
Looking Ahead
The event takes place Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Brent looks forward to sharing his experience and connecting with students across Miami-Dade Schools.
